It's obvious that the kid fears his older brother. So I would assume there is probably more than just "being told" that the kid has to worry about. Besides so what if he cries he is a kid and his brother is obviously messing with him.
Let me ask a question, say I come over to your house and bash your shit in. Would that make you have no life as well? That is pretty much the same thing......
