It's because the battle is soooooo close. There hasn't been a battle as close as 360 vs. PS3 since SNES vs. Genesis. That battle was INTENSE. But imagine... if back then... when we were all fighting about Mario vs. Sonic... there was a 3rd system outselling the SNES and the Genesis combined, and all it had was exercise games, party games, cartoon games, and stupid games for losers!!!!
I understand how these people feel. But IN YOUR FACE CHUMPS. Old people is the new hardcore. Deal with it.
(Also, it's the internet. Zucas is right about that. I doubt half of these people would be this fanatical in real life.)
