I think you got it all in that post madskillz.

Most gamers nowadays have trully been disconnected with the spirit of gaming, they no longer enjoy the games for what they are, rather for them being on their console of choice and other people who don't have that console are inferior to them.

One of the things that saddens me, is that you cannot even give an honest reply to a game of a rival console that you immediatly get attacked as being affiliated in some sort with that console.

I've been gaming since a Spectrum ZX, and while in the SNES/GEN and PS2/Dreamcast generations, things got out of hands sometimes, it was never like it is right now.

People are taking this business way too personal, like it existed only because they will it to be. You should enjoy games for what they are, all games, instead of trying to make petty wars and conflicts just because of some corporation's sake.
