This happens a lot where I live (south america). The people that buys PES every year learned to play the game on PS2, they don't know that the game is available for the 360, and they don't know that FIFA is now better. So they bought a PS3 to play PES (yes ONLY PES!!!), and they buy every year version (like Madden in USA).
Some people are learning that FIFA is now better and are giving it a try (that's why the sales for PES are declining), but they buy it for the PS3. So soccer games, better sales in the PS3 for a long time.
