Are you sure about that? I believe the game to be great, that's nobrainer. But the gamestyle psychological horror isn't exactly mainstream... (I'm shitting myself over RE4 so go figure)

No, I'm not sure. But remember that Bioshock sold 2.5 mill and Resi always sold well, Resi 5 already 2.5 mill on X360.

Bioshock nor Resident Evil 5 are psychological horror games. They are more mainstream in this regard.
I agree with you that Alan Wake has a shot @ 3 million, but not for the reason you speculate...

I think 'horror' is too strong of a word for Alan Wake, but I agree that Bioshock and Resi are a lil bit more mainstream.
Anyway, for what reason u think AW has a chance at 3 mill?

I believe it will be a benchmark in horror games this gen. I think Microsoft will heavily advertise it and the American/European Markets will gobble it up. Although it's the same genre as HEAVY RAIN, it excercises a far simpler gameplay mechanic, and thus could very well attract that many users.

it's def horror... a diffrent kind... and it looks well executed and the writer is really excited... so I have high hopes for this bad boy
