I've never used a gun, much less owned one, and never plan on it either. However, I can't understand how people think every gun-related issue would magically be solved by gun-control laws. You honestly believe most gun-related homicides involve guns that are legally acquired? Pro-tip: Someone who kills someone is breaking a law. A big one. One that get you life in prison or even death. Do you really think they'd care about breaking a much smaller one. Even in cases like this, where someone goes crazy and uses a gun to do something terrible like this, does anyone honestly think this guy would magically became rational if he had a knife instead of a gun? This guy KILLED his SON over a VIDEO GAME. I really don't think the added effort of a knife was going to calm him down or reduce his rage.
