To do such a beautiful game with the higher HD production costs of the PS3, it would need a huge fanbase in the West to justify the investments: it would then need at least 2 million sales, JUST to begin to do profits... a 900k userbase in Japan isn't enough, and no, it would not have done better on PS3...

And when you see the actual PS3 userbase in Japan, you easily understand why Capcom was wise enough to go for the larger userbase for such a "Japan-centric" game... just as Squarenix will do with the next Dragon Quest...

Now, if Monster Hunter is so important for you, the solution is quite simple: play it on Wii... unless of course, this is all about trolling and whining...

Seriously, PS3 or X360 already have many exclusives, alone or combined: they just can't have ALL the best games created this generation, Wii deserves some exclusive AAA efforts as well, from time to time...

And after all, Wii's the market leader, and market leaders are usually treated very well: remember the PS2, not too long ago? Learn to live with it, and enjoy all the best games you can, on all the consoles you really want to have...

In my case, there are maybe two or three games on PS3 i'd really like to play: but you don't see me cryin' on message boards because they're not released on Wii, isn' it?

And i have enough games to play on both DS and Wii, so no need to spend more money on hardware... even for the next (awesome) Team Ico effort... that's just the way things are, that's all...
