What was the game this generation that convinced you it's time to join?

I already had a 360 at the time but Gears of War was the game that officially made this "Next-Gen" to me. I watched youtube videos of this game being played daily until I finally got my hands on this game. Then once I did the next 6 months were dedicated to playing 3-4 hours after work everyday with friends. Good times.
