Anyway.
I picked the Wii for a few reasons.
Firstly, it's great to be able to play games with my wife and the guests that we have over. We tend to entertain people more often that I've been used to for the past few years, so games like Mario Kart and Smash Bros. have been great - though that's also true for my 360 when we get the Mortal Kombat crowd in here (and yes, this has come up before).
Secondly, it's allowed me to pick up quite a few games that I missed out on during their original run - the first Legend of Zelda, Super Mario RPG, the original Ogre Battle, on and on.
Thirdly, you know - Nintendo. I'm a sucker for Metroid and Zelda and Mario and Fire Emblem and all sorts of other things, and I'm the sort who waits with giddy anticipation every time Miyamoto gets ready to make an announcement.
Add this in to the original titles that I've particularly enjoyed like Zack and Wiki, and a few oddball games that I enjoy way too much like Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and I don't think I've ever had this much fun with a system before.
