But isn't he already dead? And by dying his heartless and Xemnas (why did Xemnas use Ansem's name and not Xehanort's?) were created.

I really should replay all KH games, not just 358/2 days!

He didn't die, he surrendered his heart to darkness to gain more control over it, he stole Ansem's name because he wanted to assume a false identity, and they can fight him because when a Heartless and Nobody are defeated, they revert to their original form.

I don't get it. Hearts go to Kingdom Hearts, but they also go back to their owner? Or do they only form Kingdom Hearts when they have a nobody? I don't get it at all.

I don't get it either...

And I know Xeanort stole Ansem's identity, but I don't see why his nobody used that name (other than there's already an X in Xehanort's name ) as he's not the real ansem.
