And no one asked your opinion either. Linux is a VERY viable option for general PC users. A lot of netbooks come pre-installed with Linux and now Google Android. Even if the PCs are dual-boots Linux + Windows, Linux offers instant booting and internet access which is the main purpose for most PC users to start their PCs. Your seriously out-of-date with your lack-of-understanding if you think a general user wouldn't understand at least the base features coupled with Linux. |
At least I'm staying on topic, this is a MS Vs Apple thread. Your post was like bringing up The Conduit in a thread about Halo Vs Killzone.
You're still kidding yourself if you think Linux is a genuine option for regular computer users. Sure if its preloaded on a system thats designed for it like a netbook thats only used for Facebook, but you think a regular PC user is going to be able to troubleshoot Linux easily if something goes wrong? Most users are stupid, many struggle to find the power button. Don't overestimate the stupidity of the masses. Linux is great for some things, but mass market acceptance is not one of them... certainly not yet anyway.
Never argue with idiots
They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience
