The price varies. For SD (480p), it's $3-4. For HD (720p), it's $4.50-6. I'm pretty sure all the new releases are $4 and $6 respectively, and the older movies can be lower. I haven't ever actually rented any movies, so I don't know the actual quality besides the resolution (480p and 720p).
