Yes, there is a niche desire for HD and even “Digital Distribution”, but I didn't think by revolution you were talking about a niche market. Also, I don't think the technocrati pushing HD and “Digital Distribution” wanted them to be niche. They wanted everyone to adopt them as the new standard.
He didn't say that nobody wants “Digital Distribution” just that it won't change society, at least not the way it's currently offered.
