I have to point this out - DQ 1 was released in Japan to Major success..it the Godfather of JRPG's, at the time of DQ's released SAURESOFT was nearly bankrupt, and Hironobu was task with making at the time probably there last game( which how the name FINAL FANTASY came up) it borrowed heavily from DQ but with Sakaguchis own style..so FF1 wasnt innovative..DQ was the inspiration for FF basically givin birth to FF
