Call of Duty 4 has passed Grand Theft Auto IV for the 11th overall spot.

I am generally using the rule "same name, same game," instead of trying to decide what does and does not technically qualify as the same game when it plays differently especially on a handheld platform. But in the case of Modern Warfare Reflex, I will count it with existing CoD4 sales, since it is much more the same game for Wii than the DS version which is already counted. Maybe CoD4 can reach Brain Age 2 sales, and, at least temporarily, break up the all-Nintendo top 10.

Wii Sports Resort is up into 35th spot as expected. Next week, it looks like it will pass no games, but in the two weeks after that, it should climb to 28th position.

After WSR 13 position climb, the next largest climbers since the original list are Pokemon Platinum, and the Force Unleashed, which are only up 2 spots. The biggest fallers are Gears of War, Kung Fu Panda, NfS Prostreet, and WWE 2008, which have only dropped 2 spots apiece. So basically WSR remains the only interesting thing on the list.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.
