err

1. it's not cheapper when added up (or used to until slim)... if I don't care about BR, it's worth 0$ to me. so what is left is the HD.... PS3 was 400€ when the premium was 250€... that's not close in price...

2. Maybe with the slim it becomes more expensive... but i'm not even sure that an arcade + 60G HD is more expensive than a PS3 (at least where I shop).

3. well 3 answers here. A) The arcade.... if your console fail you keep your HDD and just get an arcade so the cost is lower for a new console. B) I didn't get one, and there were new 360 versions introduced C) YLOD

4. No argument there... the only reason I justified it is because the 360 was so much cheaper than the PS3 that it paid for a few years of live... (I got a great bundle).

1. Yes it is, if you buy four wireless controllers, get the WiFi adapter, a 12gig hard drive, and an HDMI cable (all brand new...and am I missing anything?) for the 360...I can't be bothered to do the math right now because I'm heading off to bed, but I do know if you bought all that used (no WiFi and a 20G HD instead of a 120G) it came out to be less than $160.00 And for the PS3 you just need to buy four controllers and a 120 gig hard drive (not proprietary)

2. See above comment.

3. You fail to see the point I was making, PS3 fanboys love to bring up the RROD, but then guess what, even with the RROD the 360 has substantual ground over the PS3 in terms of total sales, so the fanboys are just pointing out a console that has had a horrible falure rate in the past, decimated their preciouse console.

4. Live is a personal choice, I won't fault anybody for not wanting to buy it...but I will rip them apart if they use that idiotic argument to justify them not buying it...I mean, c'mon, that just insaults my intelegance.
