I agree so I will just list the ways. First and foremost, PS3 fanboys (not to be confused with owners, because I am one myself) kill the buzz of having a PS3 and drain all the fun out of the official hype a game gets. The add godly hype to a game that mostly is only human. They act like every game was sent from heaven above when the biggest stand-out titles (to me) on the PS3 have been MGS4, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, Heavenly Sword....and...thats it for not. There are great titles, but stand-out? I don't know. Infamous was great and so was LBP (Yes, I finally played it), Rachet & Clank and more. I know more great titles coming out, but they aren't the end all be all of PS3 games. There are more PS3 games out already that are higher in value and acclaim than next years exclusives. PS3 fanboys just wont let this be. The seem to spend more time typing on the computer than actually playing their games as well. They seem to have forgotten the average graphics days of the PS2 and PS1 era, when they had the argument of quality and quantity all rolled into one. Now it's quality in a handful. I mean the PS3 has picked up the pace, but they have handfuls every year and the fanboys just exaggerate. I haven't seen exaggerating like that since the original Xbox fanboys. They have the same exact arguments. "Graphics this", "power that", "the system will get more games just wait and see!" "Sony 4 Life" "Trey all day!" My.......how gay. Seriously, I've had arguments with PS3 only fanboys and have never lost as most have given up siting their major draw back being their major bias and blind loyalty to Sony rather than just judging games for what they are. Sony doesn't make the games.....they hire people to make the games for them just like Microsoft. The only fanboys with accurate arguments are Nintendo fanboys and I hate the damn Wii. |
