Blah, the student download is giving people problems. For me, when you have to run the unpacking or whatever it is after you download it, it gives an error message when it's almost done. Why couldn't it just be an ISO download like the RC was?
Through a workaround I found I was able to get an ISO created and burned onto a disk. It looks like it works, but it's 64-bit so I'm only going to get as far as XP telling me that it's not a valid application. Hopefully the error I mentioned above doesn't hamper the installation process once I reformat and partition my hard drive, but I wont be able to try till tomorrow so maybe if I'm lucky it'll be fixed.
