The motion controllers will either completely replace the classic current controllers, and the whole game libraries made for them, thus changing the whole direction and values of the game industry, that is basically the definition of "new generation" OR be treated like optional peripherals.
In the latter case, they won't have an effect on sales, and the HD consoles won't have a reason to sell for longer than 5 years, therefore the next generation will come soon anyways.
