Wy do people hate news when it's against their agenda. Yes it was up then and is up now. But 66% in the last 6 months. Thats a fact. It's also a fact that marketshare is 4%. Why does that bother you. It's a factual OP. Get over it. If you enjoy it continue to enjoy it.

it's not that its the fact that you are trying your best to put FUD into the viability of Blu-Ray's future when its straight forward that it's what the entire industry of CE companies has decided on.

its like when BETA was not picked over VHS

this time Blu-Ray was picked over HD DVD

now the same FUD about Blu-Ray surviving against Digital Downloads is all the rage ...same story just another format

I don't think Blu-Ray is going anywhere either.  I think the point of this thread is that it probably will not see the success that DVD has.  

 

IMHO Blu-Ray will probably be very successful, however it will probably be the last format for physical media.   This is actually a good thing for Blu-Ray, that means that Blu-Ray will be around for longer than it probably would have.
