Once you go DD you never go back!
As long as Blu-Ray is more expensive than DVD you will always have a percentage of people that will not upgrade. Believe it or not a majority of people don't even have an HD capable tv so why in gods name would they upgrade?
It will take a while before DD becomes a mainstay for the average consumer. 5-7 years if I had to guess.
