Situations like this happen all the time and many times get resolved, but you never hear about it. It looks like 1up is doing just what they say they are doing, stating rumors. It's hearsay and whether or not it comes true does not ruin 1up's credibility. They are just passing the word. Just hope it doesn't happen is all you can do.
