There are tons of games I'm interested in, but the only one I've played  before and actually loved was Tower Bloxx Deluxe by Digital Chocolate. They're new to the XBox scene but having been topping the charts in mobile games for years. I can't count how many hours I've spent playing tower bloxx on my phone, same with my kids - they loved it because it was so easy. It's one of those "easy to learn, hard to master" games just like tetris, peggle or bejeweled. Only in this one you're handling actual buildings that can take you all the way up into deep space, versus just being looking at a flat puzzle board.

out of 10

4.5 Presentation
$10 for a $.99 iPhone game?!
6.5 Graphics
The game is bright and colorful but could use more avatar variety.
7.5 Sound
Pleasant electronic tunes piped into your construction site.
5.5 Gameplay
The one button controls are fine for iPhone but Tower Bloxx is dull and repetitive in the living room. The strategy of Build City mode is the one saving grace.
5.5

Lasting Appeal
Up to four players can join a multiplayer game but you can't take it online.

5.6

IGN 5.6 is like a 3.5

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
