I sold my 80gb and bought a Slim. I have been enjoying it quite a bit.
There is one difference for me between the two that made my purchase worth it. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the Wi-Fi is better for the Slim.
My room is very far from my router, so when I had my 80gb I had to use a lan cord. I don't have to do that now that I have the Slim.
I haven't had any problems with it as well, like some have said it gets very hot sometimes but that's just because of the unique way it cools itself.
It has only frozen once, and that was when I was playing Uncharted 2, which I've heard is a normal occurrence so I wouldn't worry about it haha.
