Because other entertainment industries aren't affected by this so called nationalism. The japanese are perfectly happy with watching an American movie or buying a British album, why aren't they happy with games? Thats the interesting question really. |
LOL...oops, typing too fast...I meant that Sony has Zero penetration in the player market (outside of Japan)...but it's beating Ipod in Japan. These MP3 players mostly gather dust in elsewhere, but not in Japan, so that's why I said 10-15% for the Xbox family. I'm not saying that Japanese consumers totally don't buy foreign goods, they just don't on a large scale.
