For those that think this is a satisfactory situation because it affects PC gamers and not console gamers. I would ask you to consider this, if you believe this was a measure to combat piracy how will you react when they finally wake up to the damage the second hand market is doing. Piracy is deplorable and I am not going to advocate it here (that said the lack of respect IW have with the gaming community right now almost gurantees even higher piracy than normal) but very few people profit from it. The second hand market on the other hand is like piracy through the back door and they will shut that door soon mark my words, the shit storm it is a coming.
