Listen.. You don't only need one device for gaming/movies/music. The PSP will do movies and gaming just fine, the iPod Nano is tiny, what's the issue in having 2 devices?
I have a Samsung Omnia (i900) It does my movies, music and I even use it to take notes at Uni. The iPhone is a piece of crap, I agree - don't buy one. That said, I have my DS as well for gaming if I want to when I'm on the train or whatever. Having one device try to do everything will never work..
