He's not wrong about most of the guys signing the petition being pirates. I'd wager the grand majority of those signing would not have purchased the copy at retail anyway. As a primarily PC gamer, I play lots of games on custom servers, and anytime someone in our group says something like "hey lets play on <insert company hosted server here>" a couple of guys say they can't, their copy isn't legal. It's a rampant issue, and it's the pirates fault, not the company, that the company takes away these options. If there was no piracy(or at least less), you can bet more companies would be leaving in the ability to run custom servers.
