GOW and GOW2 were really great games, why would GOW3 need multiplayer if does everything right again? What would be the point of having multiplayer?
Cooperative multiplayer? No. Kratos is alone in this world and he doesn't NEED help. If anyone has played the first 2 games, you know that Kratos can more than hold his own.
Competitive multiplayer? Other than leaderboards for challenges, there would be no point to this. Unless they went the MGS4 route in one of the modes, where one person is Solid Snake. But that would mean that hundreds of people were lowly soldiers, and maybe a few were mini bosses or something. Would this be fun? Yes for the guy playing Kratos, but not anyone else. Forget about everyone being Kratos, that is just absurd it would never work.
Simply put God of War doesn't need multiplayer, and there is no real way to implement it.
