no if uncharted 2 is anything like 1, it is too linear. gta is an open world do anything you want game. totally different.
which is also why i don't like when peopel compare uncharted to zelda either. zelda even though basically linear makes it not seem like that, while in uncharted you are just like in shooters just moving forward through the level and then go to the next area. you can't run around open world, go to differnet towns, side quest ect all you want.
that is why you can't compare uncharted to games like gta or even zelda. while zelda is an open world adventure, uncharted is a shooter adventure. (not meaning shoting involved, just the way you progress story wise)
in open world games you can choose to do nothing for a while relating to story, while in uncharted and shooter type games you are forced to follow story the whole time.
And due to this, it will ont reach the mass appeal that GTA did. hell most the people i know of all ages, 8-25 barely get far in story at all. i have beat the story, and they have like 10x more time playing the game than me.
