You do realise Reach isn't a spinoff, right? It's a brand new main game. It is the biggest story of the main game story to be brought to the series. The Fall Of Reach is the beginning. It's how Masterchief ends up the only spartan left. It will be a fully fleshed new engined game. It's effectively Halo 4.

Okay, my apologies. Halo: Reach isn't any more of a spin-off than Star Wars: Episode I was. Hopefully it will be a lot better than SWE1 though.
