Lol alright I can see that this thread has switched gears to actual DUIs instead of its intended subject. One thing about this that has always bothered me is that there are many people out there who have driven drunk at least once in their life, yet are so quick to judge people who have gotten caught. I'm no saint, I know that, but I'm not some fucked up criminal who committed a crime against humanity either. I went to jail, payed the fines, and went to classes. It sucked but that's just the way it is. So to all of you who are so hellbent on calling me an "idiot" or saying that what I did was inexcusable, it was a MISTAKE. And if I was the only one in the car at the time I would not have even gotten the DUI in the first place. So please, shut the hell up and stop being so damn judgemental about my character.
I realize I'm only 20 and still very immature, but I'm not asking for sympathy here, just your opinions on parenting.
