What I really don't understand this gen

360 fans? What do they brag about - how often do they create a gazillion threads about an exclusive? There are some, but not as much as Sony fans.

I don't think posring hardcore porn is caused by owning a PS3... nor do I think people buy PS3 because they post hardcore pornography...

And ditto to any other negative forum behavior like spamming, alt making, etc. You either are arguing that PS3 attracts those kinds of forum goers to buy a PS3, or buying a PS3 causes that kind of behavior. Both are ridiculous claims.

erm, when did he say anything about porn? He was talking about people making Alt accounts...which means he wasn't just talking about "MSG4ever"

He is arguing that the PS3 fanboys can be the most immature, and they are everywhere. Although a few named for the other two do come to mind. He was not in any way arguing that going out and buying a PS3 suddenly makes you act like an immature jerk. He was implying that many who DO own a PS3, and go to forums are so attatched to their brand that they cannot seem to use reason and logic and must defend it at every turn.

The reason 360 fans downplay every PS3 exclusive and the PS3 itself, is because the PS3 fanboys are overhyping them.

I only know of two Wii fanboys who are horrible, and at least five Sony fanboys who are horrible, Likewise I have only seen two 360 fanboys who were really bad.

Trolling is something that EVERY fanboy is going to do, if they do it against your favorite console, it's going to be annoying, if they do it against another console...well, not so annoying is it? In order to be objective you would hae to say that the worst trollers are the extreme fanboys. I think that the PS3 fanboys are slightly more annoying than the other two, but the reson for this is that there are more PS3 fanboys.
