If MW2 had such amazing legs as MW we could judge by preorders of MW2 that it would sell 15m in two years on X360 alone easily. But it won't happen again and MW2 sales pattern will be similar to Halo games, 50% of litime sales in first 3-4 (or few weeks more) weeks and the rest in next two years.

 

PS. Shouldn't it be already next preorder chart for US on site ? I wonder how MW2 increased after Spec Ops was revealed.

I doubt MW2 would do 15mill on any single platform.

 

It won't, I just meant that if the sales pattern of MW2 was the same as MW and knowing that how many preorders already are, it would be huuuuge. But MW2 won't sell the way MW when few weeks after launch the game was selling at a very high percentage of the first week sales.
