So.... It's gonna be like a console game on PC?

WTH DO THEY THINK I GAME ON PC FOR?!?!?!

Sorry, but consoles is where da money is at. Piracy has just about killed the market viability on PCs.

That's actually false. How do truly good games like Valve and Blizzard games manage to sell such rediculous numbers? That's just because they are GOOD games. PC players have a much higher stndard than console players when it comes to games. Make a good game and it will be bought, fail and it will not or it will be pirated many times.

OR there's been a trend building up where more and more PC heavy genres are becoming more prelavent on consoles and now the console versions are actually getting better treatment. To me I see it as the consoles are a safer bet with better projections and far less piracy concerns.

Sure there is a much larger PC pool of viable consumers, however, every non-monthly fee generated game, has a VERY high % of piracy, even the good games. Whereas its almost zero on consoles and its easier to develop on consoles as they are a single architecture.

Yes more genres are going to consoles, that doesnt mean the games don't suck compared to the genre on the PC. This is especially true of Shooters. As I see it it's easier to sell crap on the consoles than on the PC.

for me half life is crap and for most pc gamers its heaven so its easier to sell crap on pc than it is on consoles it all depends on who is buying the game. halo is heaven to me but i think from what you are saying its crap to you right so same thing is for half life and team fortress. If you dont like it then fine but dont complain because console shooters sell more than pc shooters. you are trying to hard to defend pc gaming when it has almost no exclusive AAA shooters left or rpgs. everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion but ones opinion can't be stated as a fact.
