The city and the Sanyo ad are in-game. In fact they are GT5Prologue In-Game. You can see exactly this ad and a gorgeous London track both driving and in replay mode.
I understand your doubts. Every time i pass this part of the track i have the same sense of unbelievable photorealistic game in movement.
