If this does happen - the double the cost for live - it must be because their faith in their live subscribers is extremely high.
If they are "hooked" on Live why not take more money of them. Simple economics. From these threads there are those willing to pay a lot more for live so why not raise the price.
The problem can be new subscribers.
Oh, well. It's all speculation...who knows what will happen....apart from MS of course.
