This pretty much sums up my thoughts on it. I don't want a guy who looks like he's already married to a location, be it the gym, the spa, or KFC. (I admit I'm nowhere near small, but if I look like a toothpick next to you...) I'm one of those people who appreciates (and does) the basics (shower, deodorant, etc), but I'm not going out of my way to spend a large sum of money on "fashion statements."
If anything, this may be a good thing to tell me some people that I should stay away from. I was raised on the value of the dollar. (I cringed at the thought of paying $13.50 for my last pair of shorts.) There's no way in hell that I'd pay $80 for a pair of jeans AND advertise the maker of them, as I think the pic of the guy in the opening post did. If your name is all over my clothing, then I either want to support it, or you better be paying me, dammit! And somehow, I don't think I care about the wellbeing of companies like Prada, Hollister, etc...
