Well I agree it is practically a new game, it is still a port. It is called enhanced port. Similar to that of the game in question.

That's the whole point, enhanced =/= direct.  Enhanced actually required time, effort, and love from the developers.  Crying about that is way more justifiable than a DIRECT port.
