Yeah, I don't 'hate' my parents for doing this, I just disagree with their reasoning. Hell, they've done a lot for me and forgiven me a lot, but I don't think it's necessary for them to punish me for something that *technically* doesn't even affect them. Yes they don't HAVE to drive me around, they'd just rather do it then let me drive, which actually makes it more difficult for all parties involved. And for the record, I don't drink and drive anymore, so I guess the law had its intended effect.

All I wanted to know was how other parents would've treated the situation if it was their kid.
