I believe being drunk increases the risk of being in an accident, but I am just concerned that people use it as a scapegoat, and make statements like 'everyone who drives drunk is an idiot.' I think there are circumstances where people who drive over the limit are not a danger, and should be let go.

Now that I can actually agree with. However, the dude broke the law, perhaps an overly strict law, but a law non the less, and THAT is why I have no pity for him, don't like the law, try fighting MADD.
