dude, if you were not living at home, and your parents were not driving you everywhere, then no, I would say they have no right. But they are doing a lot for you, you should be grateful they are keeping you from driving and incurring more fees, getting your car towed again, and trashing your driving record even more. they are trying to teach you to be responsible, which is obviously something they failed to do with you at a younger age.
