Official Xbox Magazine sings the praises of Mass Effect before rewarding it with a perfect 10. Editor Paul Curthoys writes:

He also stated its the best game hes ever played, if its as bad as he says it is, the magazine would get hit hard for that statement.

Saying its the best hes ever played is a very strong statement, doesnt just pop up cause its the xbox magazine

 I don't know the magazine so I can't argue about it =/.
But when I play a game I say a lot of times 'WOOWHAA it is the best game ever'.

And I don't think the magazine really would get hit hard for that statement because it is his opinion but then again I don't know that magazine and I don't read it.

True konnichiwa, but they are saying

This is the best game, there saying that of all the 10s they have given (they gave 10s to halo 3, bioshock, and COD 4) this was the best one. Thats a huge statement because all of those games are big contenders for GOTY
