Incredible Microsoft and Nintendo ignorance

I was talking to my new flatmate about online gaming and how Microsoft did it differently from Nintendo and then he says:

Him: "But I suppose it's easier for Microsoft because you're doing it with an actual computer as opposed to a TV."

Me: "What do you mean?"

Him: "Well Microsoft is a PC thing isn't it?"

Me "But there's the Xbox too, that's not a PC."

Him: "Do Microsoft make the Xbox??"

Me: "Of course! Who did you think made it?"

Him: "Oh, I thought it was Nintendo. I thought they did the Wii and the Xbox...."

 

So, it seems like one or the other of these companies' advertising campaigns is missing a trick! Or maybe my flatmate's just a bit slow...
