For me Uncharted 2 was really the proof in the pudding. It is heralded as the best looking PS3 game to date, and it probably is.
But whilst an incremental improvement, it was not in any way drastically better looking than Gears of War 2, or Forza Motorsport 3. It also makes one wonder at the brilliance of Naughty Dog that with half the development time and perhaps a third of the budget they made a better looking game than Killzone 2, but it could just be I like their art style more.
Ultimately, Uncharted 2 is heralded as the best of the best graphics wise on PS3 and it is. Which just goes to show that the best of the best offered by both consoles are much of a muchness.
