The lack of HD cables is one of the biggest ironies of the PS3. Same goes for the 3ft USB cable. $600 and you cant fork over 10 cents more for a longer cable?
About the menus; In the system settings, they have a little description below some menus so you know what they do. However, its really inconsistent and is only on a coupl items. So, wanna know what the hell "cinema conversion" does? Well, you gotta look it up in the online menu. Thats just shitty.
Oh, and the default theme is impossible to see with a bright background or wall-paper. Its not as much of an issue with custom themes, but still. Also lame is how small the font is. Dead Rising came out before the PS3, so they should've learned they're lesson.
PSN; Everytime I play RFOM online I have to agree to the user terms of service, and I think it does the same bull with everything else. Thats just stupid and annoying, especially since it doesn't happen on the 360.
Another thing is they recently reorganized the store. What I've noticed is that there is no easy way to find a grouping for wallpapers. Also, the fact you have to look up games based on genre instead of being able to display them all is just stupid. In fact, the whole thing is just horrid from a design standpoint.
Oh, and the controller sucks. Seriously, the triggers are way to sensitive and fell to squishy. Sticks are next to each other but whatever, its the fact that they haven't improved the form factor to be comfortable with non-12yr old hands is the real issue.
