No, this is exactly what would be the death of them. If you start mixing a gaming machine with a phone, you have a phone device that is outdated in 6 months whereas the gaming device can still be utilized for 2-5 years. And if you keep releasing new 'models', especially that cost $300-500 dollars, the public will just drop your platform for a cheaper (see Nintendo DS) platform.
Remember the N-Gage people. Don't turn the PSP into that.
