We used to have a dog on our street, labrador rottweiller cross I think. Big MFer that would come charging down the road barking at people. Used to scare the shit out of everyone unless you knew that it's bark was worse than it's (non-existant) bite. Loveliest dog you could meet, I think it just used to get a kick out of scaring people.

I was attacked by a Bull Terrier when I was 14. I'm a big dog lover but I don't trust Bull Terriers anymore. I was in a park with friends and the dog came over and seemed friendly enough. It started jumping up at me but no biting yet. It started to growl (bigger sign than barking) and started tugging on my jeans, when I pulled my leg away it wasn't happy. Came barging back and locked it's jaw around my leg and began to chew. Easily took me down and if it had decided to go for my face or throat, I'd have been a lot worse off. The owner came running over and smacked it with the dog lead and it let go. Little fker still wanted more of me but the owner dragged it away. Not much blood but my leg swelled up bigger than I'd ever seen a leg swell up and I couldn't put any weight on it for 3 days. Had a tetanus and the dog was put down.

I've been nipped by little rat feature dogs a few times but they don't count because they're not real dogs, they're large mice.
