I am quite picky about intuitive/fun controls myself and I love the sega/nintendo games. Even though I don't have a ps3 (you should have gotten a wii), I do play it at some friend's place once in a while. Here are my thoughts:
Killzone 2: if you had trouble aiming in Uncharted, don't even bother with this game. It took me 5 minutes to aim on each target. I really, really hated the controls for this game.
Infamous: Interesting in the beginning but became very repetitive in a few hours. At least it lasted a few hours.
Valkyria Chronicles: You should try this one
Little Big Planet: Also didn't think it was cute. But I liked playing it with a friend. Had some fun, but didn't feel like coming back to it so much.
