Could be a regional thing.  I don't think i've ever even seen a Wii music commercial.

It was Nintendo's big holiday title.  You may not have seen any, but they were certainly there.  :P

And Nintendo sure knows how to do marketing.  Just look at the Wii ads since launch, or the Mario Kart ads.  The whole "playing together" vibe is something no other company has ever truly gotten across quite like Nintendo.
